What is Porosity?

Porosity basically means how many tiny holes or open spaces are inside a material.

A porous paver is kind of like a sponge. It has tiny openings that let air or water pass through, which can make suction harder because the vacuum can’t hold a perfect seal.

A non-porous paver is more like glass or smooth plastic. It does not let much air through, so suction equipment can grip it much easier.

Porous = air can leak through it.

Non-porous = air cannot leak through it easily.
